FAQs

  • Yes. We do not accept walk-in appointments, and new patients will require a referral from their family Physician. Our referral form is conveniently located on our website under the referrals tab.

  • Yes. We are located directly across the road from Shoppers Drug Mart and a public parking lot. We have shared underground parking behind the apartment complex, accessible off of Kitney Drive, at the intersection of Bayly St W and Commercial Ave. The entrance is marked by a blue and white sign. Parking costs $2/hour. The ticketing machine accepts credit card and cash.

Elevators are available on P1 and the ground floor. We are located on the second floor, to the left of the elevators, unit 202.

If you are being dropped off to your appointment, you can enter and exit the underground parking without needing to purchase a ticket.

  • For procedures performed under fluoroscopy, including radiofrequency ablation and epidurals, you will need to bring someone with you to your appointment who is able to safely drive you home. All infusion appointments require you to bring a driver.

  • Be sure to eat and drink prior to your appointment, unless otherwise specified. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Feel free to bring a book, audio, or other comfort item to your appointment. Ensure you have completed your pain questionnaire in advance, or bring a copy of your pain diary to your appointment with you. We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time for check-in. Detailed discharge instructions will be provided following your treatment.

  • After your treatment, our staff will provide you with a pain diary so you can keep track of your progress. You should not engage in strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours, but may then return to your normal activities. You may continue taking your prescription medications, unless you are instructed otherwise. You will be scheduled for a follow up appointment 3-4 weeks after your last treatment.

You may feel some mild pain, muscle spasm or tenderness at the injection site for a few days, but this typically subsides fairly quickly. We always recommend icing the area for 10-15 minutes at a time, several times for the remainder of that day.

If you have any concerns, please contact us directly at 289-795-3774.
